Certifications and sustainability

WE TAKE CARE

We want to be a role model for our partners and fellow human beings. That is why we take responsibility for people and the environment. This means acting and living sustainably. Quality is also an expression of careful behaviour, which is why quality assurance certifications are a matter of course for us.

IFS Food Standard

The IFS Food Standard audits products and their production processes to assess a food manufacturer's ability to produce safe, authentic and high-quality products in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications. We have been certified through unannounced audits since 2006. Our results are always at the higher level.

Organic certificate

We are certified organic according to DE-Öko-007, which certifies that we comply with and fulfil the requirements of the EC Organic Regulation.

Fairtrade

The Fairtrade label identifies goods whose production complies with certain social (empowerment of small farmers and workers), ecological (labour and environmental protection) and economic (minimum prices, transparent trade relations) criteria.

Rainforest Alliance

Sustainable and resource-conserving behaviour is a top priority for us - which is why we proudly bear the Rainforest Alliance seal. The Rainforest Alliance promotes sustainable practices, for example by teaching the basics of climate-conscious agriculture. Its goals also include combating human rights violations and reducing poverty among the rural population.

Interzero

Through our collaboration with the environmental service provider Interzero, we have made an individual contribution to climate and resource protection. In 2023, Rexim Lebensmittelproduktion KG recycled 221 tonnes of recyclable materials and saved 20,752 kilograms of greenhouse gases.

Zentek

The Zentek Group's customised disposal and recycling concepts ensure that all types of waste are recycled in line with the principles of the circular economy.

Reclay

Reclay is a service provider in the field of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and offers voluntary solutions for closing material loops.

Photovoltaics

REXIM Lebensmittelproduktion KG has the largest contiguous photovoltaic system in Flensburg. The system was commissioned on 20 February 2024 and in the same year we already generated 57% of our consumption from renewable energies.
